Macarena Barros Jiménez
Manos Mágicas Director and Creator is a journalist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and also counts with a Post Grad Certificate in Cultural Management from Universidad de Chile. Macarena has a vast experience in PR and communications industries. She was a regular columnist of “Tradición Artesana” (Craftsmanship Tradition) published in El Mercurio newspaper from 2004 until 2007 about local tradition in Chile. She is also responsible for the photographs of the exhibition entitled “Bendita Vuelta a Casa” (Blessed Homecoming) a compelling photographic journey through Chile and it´s amazing and numerous landscapes, climates and regions. Macarena was also the producer of the photo exhibit “Las Fiestas de la Vida” (The Parties of Life), topic that covered the Chilean Altiplano during the 33rd International Crafts Fair in Santiago, 2006.
